Beautiful one, as we transition from Autumn’s energy of gratitude and reflection to Winter’s call for rest and replenishment, I invite you to join me for a deeply nurturing day retreat aligned with the seasonal shift. A day that gives you the opportunity to pause, breathe and be. With practices designed to cultivate grounding and gratitude, you’ll be guided through moments of stillness and movement, creativity and reflection, nourishment and connection. This is your invitation to slow down, honour where you are and fill your cup before the winter months ahead.

What To Expect
Gentle Yoga
Suitable for all levels of experience. This mindful movement practice will incorporate reclined, seated and standing yoga poses combined with breath awareness. Designed to stretch and energise your body, clear you mind, calm your emotions and nourish your nervous system. Modifications and props will be offered to support accessibility. This practice will leave you feeling grounded and revitalised.
Restorative Yin Yoga
Suitable for all levels of experience. This slow-paced, meditative practice will incorporate holding reclined poses for extended periods using props to support comfort. Designed to encourage stillness and softness as you relax into each stretch and anchor to the gentle flow of your breath. This practice will leave you feeling rested and restored.
The Gratitude Glow Up Workshop
An interactive session where you’ll connect to gratitude cognitively and somatically and learn practical ways to weave savouring and appreciation into your daily life in order to experience deeper fulfilment and contentment.
The Creative Workshop
Creativity and play are an important part of feeling nourished. In this session we’ll connect to gratitude in a fun way.
The Circles
The closing and opening circles provide a soft place to land, an opportunity to be witnessed and lovingly held, and a way to connect with the other beautiful participants.
The Venue
Our cocoon for the day is Haven and Harmony, a beautiful private property surrounded by serene nature. Situated just 10 minutes out of Canberra with plenty of parking, this sublime rural setting will leave you feeling deeply relaxed and restored. Yoga mats and props will be provided but you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
The Food
An important part of any retreat, there’ll be an abundance of delicious and nourishing food. Seasonal and freshly prepared, with dietary requirements taken into account, you’ll feel well-fed and wonderfully nurtured.

GROUNDED AND GRATEFUL is your invitation to take a day for yourself. To slow down, fill your cup and allow yourself to be nourished. From soothing yoga and meditation practices to inspiring and creative workshops, each activity has been thoughtfully curated to replenish your energy and nurture your spirit. The day will offer a supportive and heart-centered space where you can take time to pause, breathe and be and connect with yourself as well as a community of wonderful women.

Kerry Solomon
I’m a yoga teacher with over two decades of experience, an award nominated life coach and a women’s circle facilitator. I’m devoted to supporting women to know they are whole, worthy and wise and deserving of lives that light them up. I’ve facilitated over twenty weekend retreats and can say my favourite thing about them is seeing participants leave feeling deeply replenished and reconnected to themselves in a way they haven’t been for a while. I’m so excited to be offering day retreats as a way to provide space for women to slow down and be nourished without having to go away for an entire weekend.. I have been going to Kerry’s yoga classes for several years which are the highlight of my week, but I was privileged recently to attend a full day retreat she facilitated just outside of Canberra. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported and truly seen. The yoga practices were grounding and suitable for all levels and the journaling and other activities were just what I needed.
